Indonesia 2012 rubber output may fall to 3m tonnes
Indonesia’s natural rubber output may fall to 3 million metric tonnes this year from 3.1 million tonnes last year as heavy rain reduced tapping, according to Asril Sutan Amir, chair of the Rubber Association of Indonesia.
Exports may decline to about 2.45 million tonnes from 2.6 million tonnes last year, Amir said in an interview in Jakarta today.
